This is an unfinished natural wooden horse figurine, hand-carved after the shape of the Regnsjöhäst. The material is raw, natural wood from Sweden. Limited edition.
Originally, the Regnsjöhäst (which means Rain-Lake horse) comes from Regnsjö, Hälsingland, a historical province in central Sweden. The shape of the original Regnsjöhäst (pic.2) is the same as a horse at Nordiska Museet in Stockholm which is dated 1813 (carved in the wood)💥 Also, some other old horses from the north of Dalarna have the same specific shape.

Recycled wood is used for the production of the horses and all the paints used are certified as safe for the environment. All Dala horses are hand-carved and handmade.
