Set of 2 vintage Dala horses from the 1980s, handcrafted and hand-painted in Sweden. Beautiful patina, very nice colors! Truly vintage and original, from the heart of Sweden!

The Dala horse is a traditional carved, painted wooden statue of a horse originating in the Swedish province of Dalarna. In the old days, it was mostly used as a toy for children, while in modern times, it has become a symbol of Dalarna, as well as of Sweden in general.

Dimensions: 15.0cm (5.9") and 13.0cm (5.11")

Recycled wood is used for the production of the horses and all the paints used are certified as safe for the environment. All Dala horses are hand-carved and handmade.
