Traditional Dala pig, hand-carved and hand-painted in Sweden.
Dala pigs, just like the other Dala animals, are traditional carved, painted wooden statues originating in the Swedish province of Dalarna. In the old days, Dala animals were mostly used as toys for children, while in modern times, they have become symbols of Dalarna, as well as of Sweden in general.
This is handmade. Every Dala pig is unique and the pattern and colors of the ornaments can be different from the photo.
Dimensions: from 7cm (2.75") to 15cm (5.90"). We measure Dala pigs from snouts to tails.

Processing time: 3-7 business days
Recycled wood is used for the production of the horses and all the paints used are certified as safe for the environment. All Dala horses are hand-carved and handmade.
We determine the figurine's height by measuring from its legs to the highest point of its ears or horns. For additional information, please refer to the FAQ.
