Unique and unusual Dala Horse, in a sitting position. Hand-carved and hand-painted in Sweden.
The Dala horse is a traditional carved, painted wooden statue of a horse originating in the Swedish province of Dalarna. In the old days, it was mostly used as a toy for children, while in modern times, it has become a symbol of Dalarna, as well as of Sweden in general.
This horse is handmade. Every Dala horse is unique and the pattern and colors of the ornaments can be different from the photo.

Materials
Recycled wood is used for the production of the horses and all the paints used are certified as safe for the environment. All Dala horses are hand-carved and handmade.
